I look back on the service that veterans have made in time of war and I cannot imagine the sacrafice.

I was a peace time vet during the late seventies and early eighties.? Spent time on submarines. ? When someone thanks me for my service, I don’t think I am worthy.? I didn’t face enemy fire or war.? At the same time, I feel respect and honor for those others that served during peace time.? We were ready if called.? Maybe it’s because I didn’t have to make the sacrifice that many friends and relatives made.

This is a long way of saying thanks, if it wasn’t for the soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines, none of us would be here today!
